Terms of Service

1. Casey is a practice tool
Casey simulates an oral argument before an AI judge for rehearsal purposes only. It does not provide legal advice, does not represent any court, and is not a substitute for the professional judgment of a licensed attorney. Nothing in a Casey session should be relied on as a prediction of how a real judge, court, or tribunal will rule.
2. Your account
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to create an account.
3. Voice recording and transcripts
During a hearing, Casey captures your voice, transcribes it, and (on paid plans) may record and store the audio of the session so you can review it later. Don't argue matters involving real client confidences, privileged material, or information you aren't permitted to disclose — Casey is a rehearsal environment, not a secure client file.
4. Paid plans and billing
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. You can review, change, or cancel your subscription at any time from your account page, which hands off to Stripe's hosted billing portal. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not retroactively refund charges already billed, except as required by law or stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use Casey to harass, abuse, or attempt to extract content from the underlying models in ways that violate their providers' policies, and don't attempt to interfere with the service's normal operation.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Casey is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Casey and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any outcome of an actual legal proceeding you prepared for using Casey.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above.
